The new album

 Jun - Nov2004

We are currently working on our first studio produced album! The plan is for it to feature all the Michaels' classics from our last three projects (and a few extras!). Current track list includes: Pullin, Spraymount, Fiddle Away, History of the Band, Roundabout, Grass Stage, It Aint right, Peter's hat, Private Property and the new ones: Sardinia, Homosexuality, Boxer Short Abyss, Kevin Bacon and Fiddle this Bitch. Anyone with ideas for a name for the new album can post em on the message board and we'll check em out. In the meantime, please feel free to stare in awe at this photo of Jacoby for a while>>>

UPDATE:  Oct 04
It's been decided that the new album will be self titled so you can all stop your frantic posts on the message board. There will also be an accompanying CD called best of Michaels' B-sides containing all the tracks we worked too hard on to cut but for whatever reason didn't make it to the main album. Release date expected to be this November.

UPDATE:  Nov 04
The new album is finished and is in your proverbial shops NOW! The currently available version does not contain the best of michaels' @ maximum B-sides. This extra CD won't be available for another month or two. However, if you'd like a copy of the fantastic album, click here and follow the instructions! It's great!

Track list:
01 Grass Stage
02 It ain't Right
03 Boxer Short
04 Spraymount
05 Peter's Hat
06 The Epic in Gminor

UPDATE:  Jun 05
It turns out we're too lazy to record the best of michaels' @ maximum B-sides CD so you'll all have to wait for the next album to hear the other tracks. Hardcore fans should click here and send us an email for a sneak peak.

Groom to be, Hugh Jones in hisMitsubishi Lancer

A Holy Padlock Ď

 17th April 2004

The Michaels are playing at the wedding reception of Hugh Jones and Ruth Drennan this April 17th! Hugh is pictured here in his Mitsubishi Lancer, a little sweaty after a long game of football in the local sports centre. Hugh asked the Michaels to play as a joke on the spur of the moment at a New Years eve party, however the Michaels graciously accepted before the accidental invitation could be retracted, and so, in Corrick House in Clogher, Co. Monaghan this April 17th, the Michaels will play to over 100 unsuspecting guests. The set list includes Pullin, Fiddle Away, The Grass Stage, Peters Hat, Sardinia, History of the Band and Spraymount.

You'll all be delighted to hear that Michaels' @ Maximum are flying off to Sardinia... the land of the nuraghi this Feb 6th for the General's 21st birthday! They've already written a song based on  the mysterious venture and accompanied by locally born all Ireland accordion champion, Donal Regan, who knows what might unfold in this enchanting land?

 Emily Maximum - Biggest fan - 2003

michaels' @ maximum
- FANtastic!

 December 2003

Literally, michaels' @ maximum No. 1  Fan!, The one and only,  Emily White from Portmarnock! Unconfirmed sources say that Emily has  more of the bands albums than the lead singer! Emily's favourite tracks include Fiddle Away, Pullin and The Rabbit. On bumping into the band's lead singer in town, she asked with a gasp: "are you the lead singer from michaels' @ maximum?!!?", "Yes, Maximum Jones at your service" he replied, "but you can call me Eoin". Pictured here  sporting Peter's hat, and sitting with Dorkus, Emily has truly earned the title of honorary Michael through her strong commitment to the band.
Thanks Emily!
